brilliant reuse: vintage jewelry = glam magnets

New blog I am in love with alert! Julias Poppies Design is penned by a graphic designer who I wish had designed my own wedding invites. Can I maybe get married all over again — to the same fella, of course — and hire her for all of my paper needs? I’m especially enamored by this suite for a couple who recently got hitched.

What I really like about her blog is the DIY projects. I recently wrote about her paint chip garland over at ReadyMade and ended up making one of my own for our Five Ladies Rummage Sale. Now she goes and knocks me off my feet all over again with this crazy gorgeous vintage magnet tutorial.

This is the side of my fridge right now. It needs some pep and I’m getting ready to change some of the photos out for Fall. Using estate sale sourced costume jewelry, magnets and some glue, the earring magnets look quick to put together and will be a perfect match for my Circa Ceramics magnets from Renegade last year. Check out the full tutorial and let’s make some magnets!
