easy thrift store art update

Small pieces of art–even original art– will cost about a dollar at most secondhand stores. Take this golden bad boy. It was sixty cents! I loved the bright colors on the canvas and swooped it up to give it a nice home. But the gold was not meshing with the rest of the colors in the house. Enter my favorite thing in the whole wide world: spray paint.

Some sanding, a little blue tape inside the painting, a few shakes of the can and we’re done.

I can’t decide. Keep it or gift it? Reply if you’re interested in a special spray-painted present from yours truly.

  1. I will take it off of your hands!

  2. I love it with the black frame, it makes the art pop!
